Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Válter Souto made the kick off which started today's match. Júlio Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Camargo in the 5th minute of play. Júlio Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Camargo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Palmeira having to make a save. A collision led to Egon EC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dráuzio Prado hit a great ball. Sílvio Luiz de Carvalho, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Yuri Matorin hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Júlio Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Travassos in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Egon EC's zone, Henrique Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Palmeira came out of the goal and Henrique Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Egon EC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Afonso Alvarenga hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Egon EC defense, Henrique Camargo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Palmeira. The Egon EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Palmeira should have stopped the shot. Júlio Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Camargo in the 29th minute of play. Oscar Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Henrique Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quixaba SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Henrique Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Egon EC defense, Henrique Camargo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Palmeira. The Egon EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Palmeira should have stopped the shot. After the first half Quixaba SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Camargo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Quixaba SC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Matorin. If Válter Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Thomás Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomás Travassos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Júlio Palmeira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Júlio Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thomás Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Júlio Palmeira made a huge save. Henrique Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Palmeira having to interfere. Henrique Camargo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Palmeira having to make a save. After 73 minutes, Thomás Travassos made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Egon EC's Júlio Palmeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Egon EC's Júlio Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Camargo in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Camargo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute of the match Renato Rosado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Palmeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Egon EC's Júlio Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Camargo in the 84th minute of play. A hard shot 85 in the game by Thomás Travassos from a close distance when the talented Júlio Palmeira managed to make a qualified save. Egon EC's players were relieved. Quixaba SC's Thomás Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomás Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quixaba SC played a much better game than Egon EC and deserved their victory. The Egon EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
