Henrique Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Magalhães having to interfere. Nando Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Paulo José Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Carlos Lara in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Magalhães saved Marvil FC from getting behind. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Camargo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Eurico Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Douglas Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Henrique Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Douglas Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Thomás Travassos got free in front of the goal in the 83rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Douglas Magalhães was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Douglas Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Travassos in the 86th minute of play. Douglas Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrique Camargo went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
