Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marx&Engels FC's Kléber Amorim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 8th minute, Duarte Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Fontes in the 11th minute of play forced Marx&Engels FC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Marx&Engels FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Fontes came free, but Ronaldinho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oscar Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Marx&Engels FC's Igor de Salles got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Oscar Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Teodoro Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egon EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the game, Egon EC's Teodoro Rosado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldinho Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Egon EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Dráuzio Prado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egon EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 73rd minute, Oscar Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Teodoro Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Marx&Engels FC's zone, Dráuzio Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho Velloso came out of the goal and Dráuzio Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Velloso having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Marx&Engels FC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Fontes. Egon EC played a much better game than Marx&Engels FC and deserved their victory. The Marx&Engels FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
