The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu Borges got free with Eliézer de Medeiros in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moisés Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Matías Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llop F.C. With an all-out effort, Paysandu's Eliézer de Medeiros threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antônio Carlos de Amorim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sílvio Luiz Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paysandu's Matías Paes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Llop F.C's Eliézer de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Llop F.C from getting a goal against them. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luiz Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 67 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Eger made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Paysandu's Matías Paes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Neto in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliézer de Medeiros saved Llop F.C from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Llop F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Neto came free, but Eliézer de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Paysandu's goalkeeper Matías Paes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Luiz Eger. In the 79th minute, Moisés Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Llop F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Neto came free, but Eliézer de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Llop F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Llop F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
