The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Anísio Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrozal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anísio Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Arrozal FC booed when AlmeidaDoGrau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elano Nunes lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. With his leg Flavinho do Nascimento managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when AlmeidaDoGrau's Antônio Koehler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anísio Messias scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magno Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrozal FC's Flavinho do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Bittencourt in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Magno Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavinho do Nascimento. Arrozal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magno Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Tibor Kriššák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavinho do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Arrozal FC's Flavinho do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Rocha in the 34th minute of play. Valdir Sena came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavinho do Nascimento could save by the left post. Dé Bittencourt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 37th playminute. The supporters of Arrozal FC booed when AlmeidaDoGrau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Flavinho do Nascimento successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Rocha in the 52nd minute of play forced Arrozal FC's goalkeeper Flavinho do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalberto Dante's late challenge caught a AlmeidaDoGrau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Dante helped the player get up and apologised. Adalberto Dante hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Flavinho do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Koehler in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Arrozal FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Durvalino Eger hit a great ball. Magno Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho do Nascimento having to interfere. Flavinho do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavinho do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Anísio Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavinho do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by AlmeidaDoGrau's Dé Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Dé Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Arrozal FC's Flavinho do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Koehler in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Arrozal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel de Queiroz came free, but Flavinho do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalberto Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael de Carvalho having to interfere. Anísio Messias struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rafael de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrozal FC. AlmeidaDoGrau's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
