Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zé Paulo Fernandez kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, pudim-mg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Guga Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Dias having to interfere. Percy de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dida Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guga Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armandinho Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Fernandez in the 12th minute of the match. Dida Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Armandinho Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes pudim-mg got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Cosme. Armandinho Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgílio Peres went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Zé Paulo Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Dias having to interfere. If Guga Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Fernandez hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Orlando Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the pudim-mg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Mendonça couldn't finish the play. After the first half Matuapira SS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Orlando Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, 袁升兴 managed to get in a good position for a shot. pudim-mg's supporters rose to their feet, but 袁升兴 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 57 minutes, Orlando Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. pudim-mg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 played minutes pudim-mg got a freekick which was hit by Dino Albuquerque. Guga Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Armandinho Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Percy de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgílio Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Zé Paulo Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Rony Abraão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armandinho Dias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, pudim-mg's Orlando Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Nunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orlando Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Guga Guerra came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Armandinho Dias could save by the left post.
