Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Tinoco in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genílson Paranaense made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mané Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Tambaqui's Sydney Favoretto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Mané Tinoco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Genílson Paranaense made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Elivélton Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Herculano AD's Marcel Netto got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Nascimento in the 38th minute of play forced Herculano AD's goalkeeper Genílson Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nestor Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elivélton Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. Genílson Fernandez came out of the goal and Cléber Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Nestor Nascimento put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Genílson Paranaense. When the referee ended the match the Tambaqui players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
