Gláuber da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes, Olavo Valladares made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sucuriju's Duda de Barros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olavo Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda de Barros having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dida Maia in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duda de Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Léo do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Moreira in the 20th minute of the match. Betinho Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo do Nascimento having to interfere. The Amanaiara fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Amanaiara's Olavo Valladares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 35 minutes of play, Amanaiara's Gláuber da Silva made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duda de Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gláuber da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Olavo Valladares made a precise shot to the right of Duda de Barros. Sucuriju's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The Sucuriju players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amanaiara were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavo Valladares to make the kick off. Gláuber da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Duda de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Gláuber da Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duda de Barros. Sucuriju's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gláuber da Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 63rd minute, Amanaiara's Olavo Valladares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Olavo Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Betinho Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Gláuber da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amanaiara's supporters rose to their feet, but Gláuber da Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda de Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Sucuriju's Duda de Barros got control of the ball when Gláuber da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Olavo Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the match was over Amanaiara could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sucuriju throughout the match.
