Raphael Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Andrade in the 18th minute of the match. Armandinho Valladares's late challenge caught a Arneiroz AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armandinho Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Seleção Brasileira got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Valladares. Seleção Brasileira's Benjamin Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Pinheiro in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Seleção Brasileira's zone, Renato Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Terra came out of the goal and Renato Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Renato Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35thth minute of the game Angelo Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seleção Brasileira's Benjamin Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Seleção Brasileira's Benjamin Terra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Seleção Brasileira from getting a goal against them. Raphael Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Arneiroz AD's goalkeeper Raphael Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovani Andrade. In the 59thth minute of the game Renato Galvão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seleção Brasileira's Benjamin Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Alvarenga in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Seleção Brasileira's Geovani Andrade got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Benjamin Terra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Seleção Brasileira were furious when Benedito Quirino was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Angelo Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arneiroz AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
