Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Percival Lima started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Manuel Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seleção Brasileira's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renatinho Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Pernambucano having to make a save. Geovani Andrade scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés Pernambucano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Madrugao SC's Renatinho Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renatinho Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Manuel Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seleção Brasileira's Manuel Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Seleção Brasileira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Valladares to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Madrugao SC's Luiz Fábio Pires tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Manuel Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Madrugao SC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Adelino Baptista hit a great ball. Manuel Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Pernambucano having to interfere. Seleção Brasileira's Benjamin Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Lima in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Armandinho Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seleção Brasileira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madrugao SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Seleção Brasileira's Armandinho Valladares got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Renatinho Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Renatinho Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Seleção Brasileira getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Benedito Quirino hit a great ball. Seleção Brasileira's Benjamin Terra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Seleção Brasileira from getting a goal against them. Moisés Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Renatinho Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
