Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramón Melo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Jaiobazinho's Claudinei Arantes got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramón Melo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilmar Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Engano SC's Luiz Fabiano Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramón Melo in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilmar Félix, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tomás Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Wilson Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tostão Faustino's late challenge caught a Jaiobazinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tostão Faustino helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the game, one of Engano SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gilmar Félix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramón Melo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaiobazinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engano SC the free kick. Engano SC's attentive Duda Brito managed to snatch the ball when Luís Eduardo Rossi made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Jaiobazinho were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Veloso to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Melo in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar Félix saved Jaiobazinho from getting behind. Gilmar Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Souto in the 63rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Engano SC's goalkeeper Wilson Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juvenal Leão. In the 76th minute, Hélder Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Veloso struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Wilson Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaiobazinho. Wilson Baiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomás Veloso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 85 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Luiz Fabiano Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gilmar Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Souto in the 96th minute of the match. Chants of Jaiobazinho echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Engano SC had held the ball for most of the match.
