Saboo AD's Wellington Tróia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ibatequara SC. After having played for 14 minutes, Romário Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saboo AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Romário Bertassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aílton Ferreira was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Adrianinho Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibatequara SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saboo AD the free kick. Adrianinho Soares hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Reinaldo Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saboo AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aílton Ferreira was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Romário Bertassi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romário Bertassi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. During the 30th minute of the match Bernardo Cunha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardo Cunha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bernardo Cunha hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Bertassi in the 32nd minute of play forced Ibatequara SC's goalkeeper Aílton Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Pernambucano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Adrianinho Soares was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Aílton Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Costa in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Saboo AD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Téo Sanches hit a great ball. If Enrique Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibatequara SC's Aílton Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Costa in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Saboo AD booed when Ibatequara SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaldo Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Romário Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saboo AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reinaldo Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Romário Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aílton Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Bertassi in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saboo AD fully deserved thier win.
