Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Paulo Barbosa started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Barreirao's goalkeeper Ulisses Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Roberto Mangueira. Ulisses Senna made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Zé Roberto Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ferrao SC booed when Barreirao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferrao SC's Luís Paulo Barbosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulisses Senna. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Luís Paulo Barbosa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ulisses Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Barbosa in the 25th minute of the match. Ulisses Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes Barreirao got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Donato. In the 29thth minute of the game Luís Paulo Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barreirao's Ulisses Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Fábio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Barreirao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Barreirao's goalkeeper Ulisses Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Roberto Mangueira.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Machado was the one to do the kick off. If Lúcio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Machado in the 65th minute of play. Ferrao SC's Zé Roberto Mangueira got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Paulo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Senna having to interfere. Ferrao SC's João Pedro Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Machado in the 80th minute of play. Zé Roberto Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Mangueira in the 88th minute of play forced Barreirao's goalkeeper Ulisses Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armindo Coelho's late challenge caught a Barreirao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armindo Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Ferrao SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barreirao:s goal. The Barreirao players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ferrao SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
