Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anísio Albuquerque took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Luís Paulo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferrao SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Paulo Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jânio Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ferrao SC booed when Jaguarao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Custódio Pernambucano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, Ferrao SC's Zé Roberto Mangueira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jânio Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute of the match Custódio Pernambucano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jânio Matorin skillfully saved the ball. If Zé Roberto Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Albuquerque in the 24th minute of play forced Ferrao SC's goalkeeper João Pedro Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo Barbosa spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Jaguarao FC's goal. The supporters of Jaguarao FC booed when Ferrao SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio Matorin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Roberto Mangueira went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Zé Roberto Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Thomás Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Jaguarao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás Peixoto couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Jaguarao FC booed when Ferrao SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Albuquerque in the 46th minute of play forced Ferrao SC's goalkeeper João Pedro Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jaguarao FC booed when Ferrao SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Paulo Barbosa made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Jaguarao FC's Diguinho Saraiva got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Zé Roberto Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferrao SC's Luís Paulo Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Paulo Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes in the game, Zé Roberto Mangueira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jânio Matorin having to interfere. Anísio Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Moreno having to interfere. João Pedro Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 82 played minutes Luís Paulo Barbosa rounded Jaguarao FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. The audience was convinced that Luís Paulo Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jânio Matorin was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Jânio Matorin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauã Bezerra's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Ferrao SC played a much better game than Jaguarao FC and deserved their victory. The Jaguarao FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
