Freire's Pedrão Quintal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Freire from getting a goal against them. Simão Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jerônimo Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Brito having to make a save. A collision led to ઽporƬ Cluɓ мαjestoso getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Olívio Rezende hit a great ball. Belchior Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Brito having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, ઽporƬ Cluɓ мαjestoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Freire's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Fiori Valle scored to the left of an out of position Pedrão Quintal, making the score, 1-0. Belchior Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belchior Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 30 minutes, Armindo Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armindo Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, ઽporƬ Cluɓ мαjestoso's Pedrão Quintal threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osmar Sá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind ઽporƬ Cluɓ мαjestoso's goalkeeper Simão Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute Belchior Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Belchior Neto in the 54th minute of play forced ઽporƬ Cluɓ мαjestoso's goalkeeper Simão Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Simão Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Fiori Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Pedrão Quintal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simão Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Neto in the 96th minute of play. The ઽporƬ Cluɓ мαjestoso support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
