Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Juriti's Pedrão da Mata started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Juriti's zone, Diguinho Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio de Almeida came out of the goal and Diguinho Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Rodrigues in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Juriti's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar França came free, but Cássio de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar França, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Diguinho Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Fut Zone's supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doni Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Quintal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidnei Esteves during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes EC Fut Zone got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Esteves. In the 44th minute, Pedrão da Mata fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Júlio Neves, passed just outside the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Diguinho Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Doni Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Doni Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Juriti's Cássio de Almeida got control of the ball when Edgar França tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vivaldo Vanders short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Cássio de Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 70 minutes, Sidnei Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EC Fut Zone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar França might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar França ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute Diguinho Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the EC Fut Zone defense, Doni Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Neves. The EC Fut Zone fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Neves should have stopped the shot. Diguinho Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Juriti fans cheered their team off the field, for while EC Fut Zone had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
