Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rodriguinho Barral made the kick off which started today's match. Fabiano Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hortêncio Freire fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viaducto's protests and gave Hortêncio Freire a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Viaducto got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Freire. When Fabiano Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mangarahy AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Prestes couldn't finish the play. Rodriguinho Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mangarahy AD's Douglas de Medeiros got a free kick in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the game, José Pedro de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viaducto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangarahy AD the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Viaducto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro de Barros to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Benedito Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viaducto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Fontes in the 29th minute of play forced Mangarahy AD's goalkeeper Téo Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Viaducto's Váldson Fontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Téo Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Téo Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Téo Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Mota in the 37th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gláuber Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Mangarahy AD defense, Benedito Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo Barros. The Mangarahy AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Barros should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Váldson Fontes to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedito Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Váldson Fontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Téo Barros having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Viaducto's Váldson Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Téo Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas de Medeiros during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Mangarahy AD got a freekick which was hit by Douglas de Medeiros. Váldson Fontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Téo Barros came out and tried to block the shot, but Váldson Fontes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 74th minute. When Fernandinho Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Viaducto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Prestes couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute José Pedro de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benedito Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viaducto played a much better game than Mangarahy AD and deserved their victory. The Mangarahy AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
