Valdomiro Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Cearense in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Torrao were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério da Costa was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gerimatalha SS getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gerson Alagoano hit a great ball. Breno Cearense took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdomiro Trancoso. Valdomiro Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Valdomiro Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Cearense in the 64th minute of the match. Valdomiro Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Manfredo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Mané Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match Erivaldo Travassos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Trancoso skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breno Cearense in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdomiro Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sydney Hames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Manfredo Mattos made a huge save. Breno Cearense might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breno Cearense ran back to his position shaking his head. Filipe Freitas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Breno Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Trancoso having to interfere. The supporters of Gerimatalha SS booed when Torrao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Breno Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdomiro Trancoso was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Torrao's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Cearense came free, but Valdomiro Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rogério da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdomiro Trancoso came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Gerimatalha SS's Breno Cearense. But to his dismay, Breno Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
