Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Waldemar Gerber took the kick off in the first half of the match. Donato Quirino made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Rafinha Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. Waldemar Gerber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Quirino came out and tried to block the shot, but Waldemar Gerber slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Rafinha Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caapora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafinha Cerezo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Quirino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafinha Cerezo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Waldemar Gerber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donato Quirino. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 27th minute, Rafinha Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Donato Quirino. Uarini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Uarini's Tibúrcio Medeiros got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rafinha Cerezo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Donato Quirino firmly grabbed it by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Rafinha Cerezo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Uarini's Donato Quirino. Donato Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joélson de Carvalho to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Cerezo in the 53rd minute of play forced Uarini's goalkeeper Donato Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Uarini getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tibúrcio Medeiros hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Waldemar Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caapora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Rafinha Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafinha Cerezo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Waldemar Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Gerber in the 65th minute of play. Donato Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Uarini defense, Waldemar Gerber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Quirino. The Uarini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Quirino should have stopped the shot. Donato Quirino came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caapora's Waldemar Gerber. But to his dismay, Waldemar Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Donato Quirino came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Caapora's Waldemar Gerber. When Váldson Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caapora's protests and gave Váldson Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Váldson Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Caapora's zone, Joélson de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Mota came out of the goal and Joélson de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caapora walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
