Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mofumbo SS's Ademar Meirelles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ademar Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Nunes made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Gustavo Godoi sent off a good shot on target. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pangarés FC! When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Mofumbo SS's Waldemar Paraibano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yuri Nunes. In the 12th minute, Gustavo Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gustavo Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Mofumbo SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Godoi couldn't finish the play. José Carlos Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Mofumbo SS's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Lira came free, but Jorge de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Nunes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gustavo Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Godoi scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yuri Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yuri Nunes made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Sebastião Moreno sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Godoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yuri Nunes could save by the left post. Gustavo Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Yuri Nunes made a huge save. In the 28th match minute, Pangarés FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Lira to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Yuri Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waldemar Paraibano placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Mofumbo SS's Emerson Vander got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jorge de Souza came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Pangarés FC's Erasmo Mangueira. But to his dismay, Erasmo Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Branco to make the kick off. A collision led to Pangarés FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dito Valadares hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Gustavo Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jorge de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute of the match, José Carlos Lira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge de Souza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Pangarés FC booed when Mofumbo SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabino Alagoano's late challenge caught a Mofumbo SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabino Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pangarés FC's Sabino Alagoano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Gustavo Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ademar Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Yuri Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ademar Meirelles scored 4-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yuri Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mofumbo SS's Gustavo Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ademar Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Gustavo Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Nunes having to interfere. Erasmo Paulista took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Nunes. Yuri Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Mofumbo SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pangarés FC for a fine match.
