Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ademar Meirelles took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes, JET STAR's Tomás Custódio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge de Souza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JET STAR reached it. JET STAR's Rony Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Godoi in the 7th minute of play. Benjamin Magalhães's late challenge caught a Mofumbo SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 10 minutes, Ademar Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mofumbo SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rony Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ademar Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando de Sena in the 33rd minute of play. Orlando de Sena took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge de Souza. Jorge de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Rubinho Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. JET STAR's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubinho Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gustavo Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Mofumbo SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Godoi couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute of the match Waldemar Paraibano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rony Cerezo skillfully saved the ball.

In the 58th match minute, Mofumbo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rony Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Meirelles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rony Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Gustavo Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mofumbo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rony Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rubinho Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the JET STAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Amorim couldn't finish the play. The supporters of JET STAR booed when Mofumbo SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Antônio Carlos Dante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge de Souza skillfully saved the ball. Orlando de Sena took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorge de Souza. Jorge de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Ademar Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Gustavo Godoi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rony Cerezo, passed just outside the right post. Rony Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in JET STAR's zone, Erasmo Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rony Cerezo came out of the goal and Erasmo Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mofumbo SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
