Allan Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Melo in the 6th minute of play. Dedé Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Allan Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Nunes's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Vivaldo Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Ortiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Jean Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute Dedé Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Linhares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Paraense in the 29th minute. Arthur Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Pitta in the 30th minute of the match. Allan Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Melo in the 31st minute of play. Allan Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Vivaldo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metaripua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Irapua players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Metaripua were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vivaldo Nunes was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Irapua got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Tasso. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Vivaldo Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metaripua's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Allan Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Nunes in the 60th minute of play. Dedé Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedé Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Allan Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Jean Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Vivaldo Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Allan Ortiz. The goal made the score 0-2. After some careless play in the Irapua defense, Dedé Melo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Ortiz. The Irapua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Ortiz should have stopped the shot. Allan Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Nunes in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Irapua's João Paulo Toscano got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Isaltino Prestes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Irapua's Allan Ortiz didn't even have to move. Dedé Melos short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Allan Ortiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
