After 8 minutes, Ruy Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegasus FC and the Iranduba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Vítor Figueiredo, was totally fooled by Iranduba FC's Fiori Reis, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Bruninho Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Figueiredo having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 19th minute, but Vítor Figueiredo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Pegasus FC hanging dry this time. If Bruninho Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Rogério Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Vítor Figueiredo. Pegasus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Valdemar Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Bruninho Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iranduba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruninho Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iranduba FC's Bruninho Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlinhos Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Iranduba FC defense, Kauã Berger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Gaúcho. The Iranduba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Júlio Gaúcho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauã Berger went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Iranduba FC booed when Pegasus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Kauã Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vítor Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Bruninho Ramalho made the kick off in the second half. When Carlinhos Souto came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Pegasus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Souto couldn't finish the play. Kauã Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Júlio Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlinhos Souto's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Bruninho Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vítor Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauã Berger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Gaúcho having to make a save. Carlinhos Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fiori Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Kauã Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pegasus FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Carlinhos Souto hit a great ball. If Bruninho Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
