After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Rubinho Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aracu's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubinho Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildo Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Pedro Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benjamin Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubinho Silva made a kick off. Gilson Campidelis charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Aracu booed when Quidombo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubinho Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gildo Pernambucano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. João Pedro Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Silva in the 63rd minute of play forced Quidombo's goalkeeper Gildo Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
