Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Sílvio Alves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Damien Motard managed to get in a good position for a shot. MORDOMIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Damien Motard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damien Motard hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Jano Pena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 齐光坤 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, MORDOMIA's Gustavo Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Zanette got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Motta. Álvaro Motta made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MORDOMIA's Doriva Sá. Gustavo Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sílvio Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Velloso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. MORDOMIA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Damien Motard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MORDOMIA's Damien Motard quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wellington Severo, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Sílvio Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien Motard, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Gustavo Velloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sílvio Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Velloso ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 95th minute Abelardo Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 齐光坤 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
