Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aírton Proença made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Criciuma getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dadá Figueiredo hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Claudinho Veloso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Criciuma's Otávio Neiva. Otávio Neiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Flexas getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zé Vidal hit a great ball. Aírton Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aírton Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Otávio Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léo Schmidt got free with Donatello Guerra in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flexas's Donatello Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeu Koehler in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Claudinho Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flexas and the Criciuma players grew even worse after the yellow card. 47 minutes into the match, Aírton Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Neiva. Criciuma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aírton Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeu Koehler to make the kick off. When Aírton Proença came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Flexas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Proença couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flexas's goalkeeper Donatello Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Criciuma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Flexas's Marcus Cardoso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aírton Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Flexas fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Flexas's Claudinho Veloso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 71st match minute, Flexas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Koehler in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donatello Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flexas's Marcus Cardoso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Criciuma. Criciuma's Otávio Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Proença in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Léo Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Donatello Guerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Léo Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Flexas got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Nunes. Léo Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
