When Pedro Luís da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Canelinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís da Silva couldn't finish the play. The Atlético Clube Palhoça fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Atlético Clube Palhoça's Osvaldinho Hermes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the game, Ernani Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canelinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Clube Palhoça the free kick. The referee gave Atlético Clube Palhoça a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cauã Nunes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canelinha FC's Fiori Silveira. 3-0. When Hortêncio Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Atlético Clube Palhoça fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Canelinha FC's zone, Osvaldinho Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Silveira came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hortêncio Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Clube Palhoça's Osvaldinho Hermes got a free kick in the 46th minute. Osvaldinho Hermes got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 4-0 in the right cross in the 48th match minute before Fiori Silveira had time to react. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Atlético Clube Palhoça's Hortêncio Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Canelinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís da Silva to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Canelinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Carioca came free, but Fiori Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Silveira having to interfere. Hortêncio Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fiori Silveira having to make a save. Fiori Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Hermes in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Hermes in the 73rd minute of play forced Canelinha FC's goalkeeper Fiori Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvaldo Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Fiori Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Carioca in the 76th minute of the match. Osvaldinho Hermes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Hortêncio Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Atlético Clube Palhoça's Osvaldinho Hermes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiori Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Canelinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Hermes came free, but Fiori Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Carioca in the 86th minute of play forced Canelinha FC's goalkeeper Fiori Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Osvaldinho Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canelinha FC's Fiori Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 99 minutes into the match, Canelinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Carioca came free, but Fiori Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canelinha FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Atlético Clube Palhoça had won, even though Canelinha FC had held more of the ball.
