The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo Nogueira got free with Adriano Siqueira in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Gustavo Nogueiras short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Adriano Siqueira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Neves during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquim Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Carlos Zonta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Siqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Acácio Lago thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Thomás do Valle, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 0-2. Igor Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás do Valle having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Saldanha in the 69th minute of play forced Tuyutinga's goalkeeper Thomás do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Gustavo Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Adriano Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cacal SS defense, Carlos Zonta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Siqueira. The Cacal SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Siqueira should have stopped the shot. After 81 minutes Tuyutinga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilvan Lucas who took care of the corner kick. Cacal SS's Gilvan Lucas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomás do Valle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 82 minutes into the match, Cacal SS's Igor Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomás do Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tuyutinga fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty!
