Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Osvaldinho Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Tuyutinga's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Carioca came free, but Thomás do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Clube Palhoça's Hortêncio Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Osvaldinho Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Atlético Clube Palhoça fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Hermes couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Atlético Clube Palhoça's Hortêncio Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomás do Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Osvaldinho Hermes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomás do Valle having to make a save. Thomás do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Luiz Gustavo Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomás do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hortêncio Carioca's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Osvaldinho Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Clube Palhoça's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Hortêncio Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Macedo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Atlético Clube Palhoça were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Tuyutinga's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cauã Nunes took the corner. Atlético Clube Palhoça's Cauã Nunes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomás do Valle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hortêncio Carioca might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomás do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hortêncio Carioca ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Hortêncio Carioca made the kick off in the second half. Thomás do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Tuyutinga getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Amadeu Salgado hit a great ball. If Osvaldinho Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tuyutinga's zone, Osvaldinho Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás do Valle came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hortêncio Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Thomás do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Atlético Clube Palhoça's Hortêncio Carioca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Atlético Clube Palhoça's Hortêncio Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89thth minute of the game Osvaldinho Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tuyutinga's Thomás do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hortêncio Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Thomás do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldinho Hermes's late challenge caught a Tuyutinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldinho Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th match minute, Atlético Clube Palhoça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Clube Palhoça left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tuyutinga.
