To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cléber Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedito Guedes having to make a save. Chicão Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Vianna having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Chicão Sena made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson Vianna. Terere FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. César Cerezo's late challenge caught a Farmácia Cristo Rei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. Edmílson Vianna acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mateus Palmeira.
