In the 24th minute Luiz Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Lago in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Proença saved Matura AD from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Rodolfo Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valério Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilton Viana in the 37th minute. Sandro de Carvalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Valério Carvalho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Lago made a kick off. Marco Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Proença having to interfere. Tony Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Lago in the 56th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Romário Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Soulja's Valério Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nelsinho Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelsinho Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Soulja's Nelsinho Silveira got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th match minute, Clube Atlético Soulja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Prado to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Clube Atlético Soulja got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Lago. Valério Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romário Coutinho went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romário Coutinho in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valério Carvalho saved Clube Atlético Soulja from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Soulja's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro de Carvalho came free, but Valério Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Soulja's João Pedro Lira got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Matura AD had played much better football throughout.
