Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lúcio Toledo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Flavinho Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Tarcisio de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Francisco Peixoto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavinho Ramos. Taboquinha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Palmyra AD's Frederico Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Toledo in the 13th minute of play. Flavinho Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Palmyra AD's José Paulo Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavinho Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Paulo Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Ramos having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Tarcisio de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taboquinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmyra AD the free kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Ronaldinho Nunes could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Frederico Fantini however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th match minute, Taboquinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Santos to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes Taboquinha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Francisco Peixoto who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Renan Pena almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Taboquinha's Flavinho Ramos did a great save. In the 62nd minute, Reynaldo Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, Palmyra AD's José Paulo Brasil made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavinho Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Paulo Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Palmyra AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Pena to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Toledo had several of the Palmyra AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Frederico Fantini as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Reynaldo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavinho Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Brasil in the 88th minute of the match. Lúcio Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Fantini having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ronaldinho Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frederico Fantini. The goal made the score 2-2. Palmyra AD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
