Palmyra AD's José Paulo Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Elias Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Reynaldo Ribeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Egídio de Brito. The goal made the score 4-2. Catarina were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palmyra AD for a fine match.
