The audience thought a goal was coming when José Paulo Brasil got free with Mathias Madureira in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Reynaldo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-4 became the score in the 78th minute when Reynaldo Ribeiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Reynaldo Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Madureira having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Alfredo Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If José Pedro Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenílson do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Quiririm's Mathias Madureira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Quiririm fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmyra AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
