Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hílton Tande started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Guará C. F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Esteves to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Valdomiro Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adriano Barbosa. The goal made the score 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Guará C. F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Linhares came free, but Adriano Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adriano Barbosa, 2-0. Lino de Alcântara hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Amanda FC defense, Belmiro Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tibúrcio Eger. The Amanda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tibúrcio Eger should have stopped the shot. Guará C. F.'s Adriano Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Garcia in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Murillo Linhares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano Barbosa. Guará C. F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo Linhares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 33rd minute Murillo Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Adriano Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Guará C. F. got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Soares. Adriano Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Zé Pedro Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Pedro Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Guará C. F.'s Duarte Soares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tibúrcio Eger. Adriano Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Montenegro in the 64th minute of play. Valdomiro Montenegro succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Amanda FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guará C. F.:s goal. The referee gave Guará C. F. a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duarte Soares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Amanda FC's Tibúrcio Eger. 4-4. Adriano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Montenegro in the 90th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the game, Belmiro Esteves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tibúrcio Eger. Belmiro Esteves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-5. The Guará C. F. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
