Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gancho FC's Jaime Senna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Jefferson Ferraz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Felippe do Nascimento. Felippe do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Furtado in the 8th minute of the match. Gernando Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Tadeu Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corujas SS and the Gancho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ivo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute of the match Murillo Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felippe do Nascimento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ivo Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jefferson Madureira made a huge save. Gancho FC's Jaime Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Evaristo Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corujas SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felippe do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Corujas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Senna came free, but Jefferson Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ivo Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Gancho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Velasco couldn't finish the play.

Jefferson Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe do Nascimento having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Senna in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefferson Madureira saved Corujas SS from getting behind. Ivo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Madureira having to interfere. Cauan Faustino hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Corujas SS's Evaristo Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Corujas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Corujas SS's Jefferson Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Senna in the 81st minute of play. Jefferson Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Senna in the 84th minute of play. Felippe do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Furtado in the 86th minute of play. If Ivo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Gancho FC's Felippe do Nascimento got control of the ball when Evaristo Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line.
