Amílton Nóbrega ran back to his position shaking his head. Jefferson Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Nóbrega in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bola que Rola's Rubens Lopes got control of the ball when Jefferson Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 23 minutes on the clock, Eriberto Mesquita commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 30 minutes, Amílton Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bola que Rola and the Corujas SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurinho Rosado in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jefferson Madureira saved Corujas SS from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 52nd play minutes Maurinho Rosado shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jefferson Madureira and just under the crossbar into goal. 56 minutes into the match, Jefferson Ferraz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bola que Rola's Rubens Lopes. Rubens Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Cláudio Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Bola que Rola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Maurinho Rosado made a precise shot to the right of Jefferson Madureira. Corujas SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Aguiar got free with Jefferson Madureira in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jefferson Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Lopes having to interfere. Bola que Rola's Maurinho Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustão Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Corujas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Simões came free, but Jefferson Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Rosado didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-3 via right post in the game's 89th minute. Bola que Rola's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Maurinho Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Madureira having to interfere.
