After having played for 5 minutes, Tarcisio da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarametais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarcisio da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio da Costa in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlindo Gerber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Léo Alves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arlindo Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Zeca Chaves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes into the game, Diogo Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zeca Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Diogo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Léo Alves had to leave the field with a concussion. 26 minutes into the game, one of Real:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Jarametais FC. Daniel Oliveira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arlindo Gerber. 1-2. Tomé Eger hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Jarametais FC's Reinaldo Brito got a free kick in the 38th minute. Diogo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Chaves having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Jarametais FC's Reinaldo Brito made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Gerber was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarcisio da Costa to make the kick off. Tostão Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zeca Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real's Arlindo Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio da Costa in the 65th minute of play. Tarcisio da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Arlindo Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Oliveira was slow to take the kick. During this time Jarametais FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Jarametais FC booed when Real was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarcisio da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Gerber having to interfere. Arlindo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio da Costa in the 86th minute of play. Tarcisio da Costa in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arlindo Gerber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Lopez in the 89th minute of play forced Jarametais FC's goalkeeper Zeca Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarcisio da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlindo Gerber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tarcisio da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jarametais FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
