The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrianinho Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Ferreira in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Luiz Fábio Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Adrianinho Santana. Curriola AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. João Francisco Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fábio Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Adrianinho Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biquinhas FC. Curriola AD's Adrianinho Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Ferreira in the 13th minute of play. Belmiro Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Acácio Antunes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Curriola AD's Adrianinho Santana. Adrianinho Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Acácio Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho Santana. Curriola AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Acácio Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Oséas Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Luiz Fábio Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curriola AD's Adrianinho Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrianinho Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Veloso went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, Curriola AD's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Veloso came free, but Adrianinho Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Biquinhas FC's zone, Oséas Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Pirani came out of the goal and Oséas Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fábio Ferreira to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Biquinhas FC's Adrianinho Santana threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Fábio Ferreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Acácio Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Adrianinho Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Biquinhas FC's Luiz Fábio Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianinho Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Fábio Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belmiro Veloso struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Adrianinho Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biquinhas FC. When Biquinhas FC's Luiz Fábio Ferreira in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Paulo José Secco hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Belmiro Veloso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fábio Ferreira in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrianinho Santana saved Curriola AD from getting behind. Belmiro Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Santana having to interfere. The supporters of Biquinhas FC booed when Curriola AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paulo Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fábio Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biquinhas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
