César Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Gustavo Barral. Maues AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Passos's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Luan Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araioses AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Maurinho Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes of play, Araioses AD's Fausto Passos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The tension between the Maues AD and the Araioses AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maues AD's Deivid Almeida got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Fausto Passos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maues AD's Luiz Gustavo Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luan Eger took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Gustavo Barral. Luiz Gustavo Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Fausto Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Barral having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Magno Meirelles made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Fausto Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araioses AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 63 in the game by Fausto Passos from a close distance when the talented Luiz Gustavo Barral managed to make a qualified save. Maues AD's players were relieved. In the 66th minute of the match Giovanni Neto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Carlos Salgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antônio Carlos Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Meirelles in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Fausto Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araioses AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Araioses AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magno Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Alfredinho Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Antônio Carlos Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Araioses AD getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Kléber Nunes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magno Meirelles in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Carlos Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maues AD's Luiz Gustavo Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Maues AD from getting a goal against them. After having played for 94 minutes, Fausto Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araioses AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Sebastião Mumbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Araioses AD getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. César Brito hit a great ball. The Maues AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Araioses AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
