Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Renato Guerra got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Victor Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ibatuba's zone, Geovânio Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Dracena came out of the goal and Geovânio Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Flávio Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Ziqui-Zira's goalkeeper Marcelo Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flávio Motta. 27 minutes into the match, Ibatuba's Bruno Teixeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Teixeira in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ziqui-Zira's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Coutinho came free, but Marcelo Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Geovânio Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Bruno Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ziqui-Zira's Marcelo Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Renato Guerra struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Erivaldo Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ziqui-Zira. A collision led to Ziqui-Zira getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Serginho Cordeiro hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Ziqui-Zira's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Leite came free, but Marcelo Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Siqueira during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Motta couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Teixeira in the 90th minute of play forced Ziqui-Zira's goalkeeper Marcelo Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulo Renato Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ibatuba had won after a very even match.
