Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vágner Novaes made the kick off and thus started the match. Samuca Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Carneiro in the 5th minute of play. Raí Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Samuca Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Rodrigues got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Pinho. Raí Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luisinho Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuca Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raí Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Vágner Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Rodrigues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Novaes couldn't finish the play. Luisinho Zanette hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Walmir de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodrigues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmir de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Corrêa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paulo Renato Macedo. When André Luís Meireles fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paratibe's protests and gave André Luís Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paratibe's André Luís Meireles got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 42 played minutes Paratibe got a freekick which was hit by Guga Ribeiro. 44 minutes in the game, Walmir de Senna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angelo Corrêa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paratibe's André Luís Meireles got a free kick in the 45th minute.
If Luisinho Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Luisinho Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Raí Palmeira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vágner Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Angelo Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir de Senna took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Corrêa. Angelo Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Raí Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Samuca Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rodrigues's Jeremias Pinho got a free kick in the 71st minute. Raí Palmeira in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuca Zonta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raí Palmeira got free with Samuca Zonta in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisinho Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Zanette in the 89th minute of play forced Rodrigues's goalkeeper Samuca Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir de Senna in the 91st minute of play. Many of Paratibe's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paratibe may have spent more time on the ball, but Rodrigues were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
