Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luisão de Andrade got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, True Love FC's Vito Matos got control of the ball when Guto Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dagoberto Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagoberto Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Flamengo booed when True Love FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Délio Bittencourt fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored True Love FC's protests and gave Délio Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes True Love FC got a freekick which was hit by Délio Bittencourt. Isaltino Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Mattos in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute True Love FC were awarded a corner. Alexandre Nóbrega went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led True Love FC's Alexandre Nóbrega to fire away a dangerous shot which Isaltino Vander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guto Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Vito Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Paulão Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albano Jerold charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Jerold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Jerold to maneuver through the defense. Flamengo's Albano Jerold got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guto Cunha made a kick off. Guto Cunha struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Vito Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo. In the 54th minute, Guto Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guto Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vito Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Cunha in the 61st minute of the match. Hélio Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guto Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Matos having to interfere. Guto Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Matos having to interfere. Flamengo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
