Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guto Cunha made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 minutes, Pedro Luís Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.R. FlaBrasília and the Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Júlio Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Vander having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo's zone, Pedro Luís Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Vander came out of the goal and Pedro Luís Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diogo Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.R. FlaBrasília's Gabrio Elizondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save C.R. FlaBrasília from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 33 in the game by Alvise Zara from a close distance when the talented Gabrio Elizondo managed to make a qualified save. C.R. FlaBrasília's players were relieved. Júlio Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Isaltino Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Peres. Guto Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Zonta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Júlio Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.R. FlaBrasília's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Guto Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guto Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabrio Elizondo having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Berger threw the ball into play from the sideline. Flamengo's Donato Dias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Júlio Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Vander having to interfere. Tales Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.R. FlaBrasília's goalkeeper Gabrio Elizondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Pedro Luís Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flamengo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
