The referee ignored True Love FC's protests and gave Fernando Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Vito Vidal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vito Matos skillfully saved the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Betão Barbosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vito Matos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ronaldinho Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vito Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Moreira in the 44th minute of the match. Adalberto Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Hélio Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Rocha having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldinho Moreira was the one to do the kick off. Ronaldinho Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Matos having to interfere. In the 61st minute, True Love FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronaldinho Moreira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vito Matos came out of the goal and Ronaldinho Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes True Love FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélio de Godoi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Moreira in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nelson Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Ronaldinho Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulão Lucas during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Paulão Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, True Love FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Moreira came free, but Vito Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
