Donato Branco came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by IRON MAIDEN666's Didi Marques. But to his dismay, Didi Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ruy da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes, Léo Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canarama EC and the IRON MAIDEN666 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Canarama EC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Léo Melo hit a great ball. Edmílson Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Donato Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Canarama EC got a freekick which was hit by Léo Melo. In the 32nd minute Edmílson Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Didi Marques came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the IRON MAIDEN666 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didi Marques couldn't finish the play. If Edmílson Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Canarama EC's Ruy da Silveira threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rômulo Proença, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 75 minutes into the match, IRON MAIDEN666's Edmílson Cearense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Canarama EC booed when IRON MAIDEN666 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ruy da Silveira made a huge save. Donato Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Marques in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Diogo Maranhense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IRON MAIDEN666 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 87th minute, Victor Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Canarama EC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Jacinto. Didi Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Didi Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. When Edmílson Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the IRON MAIDEN666 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Cearense couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IRON MAIDEN666 fully deserved thier win.
