Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute José Carlos Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, José Carlos Ferraz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luizinho Saldanha. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Cazuza FC's Luizinho Saldanha got control of the ball when Amílton Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Wesley Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Wesley Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cazuza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Floripa's Fábio Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Moreira in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugênio Queiroz during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amílton Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cazuza FC booed when Real Floripa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Marcel Marques sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fábio Loyola skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th minute José Carlos Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Real Floripa got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Ferraz. Real Floripa were furious when Nildo Pires was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amílton Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Fábio Loyola made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Wesley Moreira sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Real Floripa booed when Cazuza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Floripa's Fábio Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Real Floripa from getting a goal against them. Amílton Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luizinho Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, José Carlos Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Floripa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Wesley Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Cazuza FC defense, Amílton Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luizinho Saldanha. The Cazuza FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luizinho Saldanha should have stopped the shot. Fábio Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Vianna in the 92nd minute of the match. Fábio Loyola was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Gonçalo Vianna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gonçalo Vianna really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 97 minutes into the match, Cazuza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Santos came free, but Luizinho Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
