The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basílio Severo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Baltazar Mattos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paratubal FC and the Pombinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paratubal FC's Baltazar Mattos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Remo Hames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Mesquita in the 55th minute of the match. Paratubal FC's Jorginho Galvão suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Pombinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paratubal FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
