Gualter Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Marco Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Carlos Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Marco Brito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Veloso, 1-0. Almir Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Gualter Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualter Torress short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Carlos Veloso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Cacoalinho SS's zone, Leonel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Veloso came out of the goal and Leonel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aloísio de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Almir Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Bastos hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 49 minutes into the match, Pracinha EC's Gualter Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Brito to make the kick off. Carlos Veloso came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Pracinha EC's Marco Brito. But to his dismay, Marco Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 68 minutes into the match, Pracinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo Sanches came free, but Almir Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pracinha EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edvaldo Sanches 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Aloísio de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Rodrigues having to interfere. Pracinha EC's Almir Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Pracinha EC from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute, Leonel Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 100 minutes Pracinha EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vladimir Valladares who took care of the corner kick. Cacoalinho SS's Vladimir Valladares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Almir Rodrigues in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pracinha EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
