Humberto Bezerra hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Miroro's goalkeeper Alexsandro Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernando Bezerra. Araruna FC's Anísio Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Mandrak in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Aleandro Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Miroro booed when Araruna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Luiz Corrêa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Miroro's Oscar Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anísio Simão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Miroro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Gugu Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alexsandro Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Miroro's Alexsandro Mesquita got control of the ball when Gernando Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gugu Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araruna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gugu Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Miroro getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Carlinhos Teles hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Bezerra in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexsandro Mesquita saved Miroro from getting behind. Gernando Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gernando Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Mesquita having to interfere. The Araruna FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Araruna FC's Gernando Bezerra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Gerber in the 69th minute of play forced Miroro's goalkeeper Alexsandro Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Alexsandro Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araruna FC. 75 minutes into the match, Aleandro Fernandez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anísio Simão, 2-2. 90 minutes into the match, Gernando Bezerra notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Miroro's Alexsandro Mesquita. Alexsandro Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexsandro Mesquita came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Araruna FC's Gernando Bezerra. But to his dismay, Gernando Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Araruna FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
